This project has a very short timeline and in order to deliver on time most tasks should run concurrently.



Subject and Alternate land

This order of business would be to identify, secure, survey, establish use rights and register title of the subject and alternate land with the aid of the DLA, LRC, Surveyor General, consultants, Bitou and the Committee.
 

Decisions


Two tracts of land has been identified to compensate for the approximate 150Ha of land that has been claimed by SAN Parks.
The two areas are as follows:
Approximately 150Ha of land in the Knysna district in and around the Kransbos area.
The boundaries of which still has to be finalized.
This property is available for transfer to the concerned parties. Approximately 150Ha of land adjacent Covie to which transfer can be taken but still has a 70 year lease before occupation by the Covie community.
 If no decision or consensus can be reached as to which piece of land to obtain a cash payout to the concerned parties will be entertained.
