PROJECT - "WATERFALL" |
|
![]() |
In order to secure drinking water of high standard for Nature's Valley the NVRA in partnership with the Bitou municipality has embarked on a project named "Waterfall" to ensure that the water purification plant installed and maintained by "Afrox" is handed over to Bitou in first class condition. The project objective statement reads as
follows: |
PROJECT - "SAVE THE FOREST" |
|
|

By Clare
Nullis Associated Press "Heading out of Cape Town, most visitors take the scenic Garden
Route, so named because of its lush vegetation. It's a pretty dull four
hour drive to the town of George -- the first notable town along the
route, but then after that it improves dramatically. The scenic lagoon
town of Knysna is a bit of a tourist trap, and seems more Swiss than
South African. Most visitors return to Cape Town after George or Knysna,
and so miss the most beautiful part of the route, including the ruggedly
beautiful Tsitsikamma national park, the adventure center of Storms
River Mouth and Nature's Valley, which -- as its name suggests -- is
paradise on earth and hasn't changed since we spent part of our
honeymoon there 10 years ago." |
