Water treatment and supply installation
To ensure a safe and potable water supply to Nature's Valley at all times.
To monitor the water supply to Nature's Valley and ensure that water, for
household use, is available, potable and safe and to report any shortcomings to
the Bitou municipality.
Nature's Valley is supplied with water from a reservoir that is fed from a water
treatment plant which in turn is fed from the Groot river. The water treatment
plant is a state of the art installation which makes use of a technology that
treats water with ozone, which is manufactured on site.
The treatment plant is in need of repair but functional and maintenance is being done on an
ongoing basis.
